How has my writing been? OK. I'm a little unsure though. Lately I've been writing a story centralized around Greek Mythology. NOT LIKE RICK RIORDAN! I've been throwing around the idea for over a year and a half now, before I ever even heard or considered reading the books (which I untimately did). I'll admit though, that after the books were read I had a much more defined idea of what the story would be about, although it had already been started. I discarded my origional begining and started all over. I'm happy with what I have in progress now.

I feel I have taken the common aspects of Greek mythological stories and twisted them into my story.

BUT, here is where my insecurity in the story comes, because of Riordan Greek Mythology is now a common topic in writing. If I was to finish the story and want to get it published, as soon as the agent realized that it was mythology based they'd probably sigh and think to themselves, "Another one? Dear..."

So I'm probably just going to write it and distribute it amung my adult family members. (It's definutely not a kid's story after all.) I mean, I plan on finishing it, and if I can find someone to fall in love with it and beg for each chapter then it's bound to be finishing it by the end of the year. Remember A Stalker's Story?

What's my Mood? Eh….
So today is summer, which for me isn’t the most exciting thing ever. Is it supposed to be? I’ve been bored all summer. Right now my friend is sleeping, sorta, she’s just lying down on the floor because she refuses to sleep on the bed. Whatever. I’m bored—the reason I’m writing this blog. I’ve been considering writing another entry for a while now but between all my writing haven’t found the time.
Now that it’s late, like most of my entries I have the time. Weird right.
We got a dog and finally named her Chica (or however you spell it) today. I’m now writing a story on a new website: www.worthyofpublishing.com. The story is still in progress, as the last one became discontinued due to massive writers block.
Not much else to say. Adios.

What's my Mood? Excited

Hi, yesterday I was able to finally finish A Stalker's Story, I'm super excited because I've started a new story and Chapter 1 is almost four Pages! (9 pt font, single spaced.)

Unfortunately, I do not have a summary yet. The story has lots of things to do with music, which is what I wanted to do. Considering that the raw idea came from the song All Black by Good Charolette. All the song contributed to the story now is the fact that the main characters ("He was a boy and she was girl, can I make it anymore obvious?") are goth. Other then that the song really contributed little.

I'm also happy because it usually takes me forever to come up with a title, and I was able to come up with a title before even begining to write. Now, the title to this story will stay to me because it's mine and I really like it. So :-P.

What's my Mood? Happy!

Well, after looking for a while I finally found somewhere to make a free website. Of course I took advantage a made myself a website, I'm so happy because today I was able to post a few of my short stories. Yay! It took me all day to figure it about but I have to admit that it's worth it, big time!
Tomorrow, I will be finishing and posting chapter 18 of my story A Stalker's Story. Along with a few "Deleted Scenes" on the website, hopefully. that's what I plan on doing as long as I don't have to do anything else or my dad doesn't take away the computer.
Surprisingly, I don't want to stop writing my Stalker Story anymore. All I did was read a few stories on Fiction Press and get a few ideas, then using them for my own characters. Boy did I have fun writing chapter 17. I swear Jen's mom is insane.
What am I talking about? Read the story to find out.
Just kidding. I'm just in a really good mood today!

Writer's Night

I'm young and ready to write what ever ideas I have. Unfortunately if I have an idea and I show my friends what I've written they're automatically hooked. Of course that isn't a bad thing, but if I want to stop writing because of another idea I can't. Yes it's motivation to continue writing but it's also a problem.
Stories such as one I'm working on at the moment - A Stalker's Story - is one of those. I'm at the point in the story where I feel I can write little more. I don't think that I've ever wanted to stop writing more than I do now. Earlier I finished writing Chapter 16 and began with a new short story, which it is in some ways.
This story is an exchange of "Love Letters" (though I probably wouldn't completely consider them that) between 3 or 4 different people. (The number is obviously yet to be decided. Only two letters are written.)
Now that school's out I will have much more time to focus on writing and what I may do with A Stalker's Story.
Unfortunately even though school is out my friends will be checking out what I've written due to a website known as FictionPress.com. So if I decide to make the story one that is discontinued they'll know about it right away. They will no doubt give me a hard time about the decision but as young writers them selves they are bound to understand in the end.
